Everton lost 5-1 from Atalanta

The Everton caretaker manager called for "100 effort" after the club's heaviest European defeat at Goodison Park.

Everton managed to lose against Atalanta with a terrible score of 1-5. The match was even held at Everton's home, at Goodison Park.

We can surely say that not only players were humiliated by this result, but hundreds of The Toffees fans were also ashamed of their favorite club.

This Europa League match will not be forgotten easily, or any time soon.

Atalanta's star players were Bryan Cristante, who scored two goals - the first goal of the game in 12th minute and another one in 63rd minute. Robin Gosens was precise in 86th minute, and Andreas Cornelius graced us with two goals - in 88th minute and in 94th minute of the game.

The 22-year-old Sandro Ramirez was the only light in Everton's dark, putting one in the net in 71st minute of the game.

Watch this video, and find out what Everton's manager caretaker David Unsworth has to say about this terrific game.
