England v Costa Rica preview

Gareth Southgate's England side face Costa Rica in their final friendly before their World Cup opener against Tunisia in Volgograd. Southgate says he will use this opportunity to test some of his fringe players.

Before the 2018 FIFA World Cup start on June 14, we will have a chance to enjoy a couple of friendly matches between national teams.

The game between England and Costa Rica will be held at Elland Road stadium, today, 9 PM.

It seems that 19-year-old England wonderboy Gareth Southgate will be playing his first game for the national team.

This could be his big chance to elbow his way into the first team. This is also the final friendly game for England.

Their first 2018 FIFA World Cup match is set for June 18, against Tunisia. Their second game is on June 24, against Panama, and they will play versus Belgium on June 28.

Costa Rica's first World Cup game will be against Serbia, on June 17, and their second is a tough one - Brazil, on June 22. Costa Rica's third game is set for June 27, against Switzerland.
