Gareth Southgate delighted with England's preparations ahead of World Cup

The England manager said there was competition for places ahead of the start of his side's World Cup campaign in Russia.

The 47-year-old English manager is very much pleased with his team's play against Costa Rica.

England v Costa Rica was held yesterday evening, at the Elland Road stadium, and England won with 2:0.

It was a friendly match, and the last one for the both teams, before the real 2018 World Cup games start.

England's Marcus Rashford and Danny Welbeck scored last night for their national team, and that was more than enough to secure a victory.

Gareth Southgate said that he is very confident with England's future in 2018 FIFA World Cup.
