Diego Maradona dismisses health rumours
Football legend Diego Maradona has used his World Cup television programme to tell the world he is "very much alive".
One of the greatest football players of all time is at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, cheering for his beloved national team - Argentina.
Maradona has played for Argentinean national team from 1977 until 1994! He was also the manager of national team at 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The 57-year-old was supporting Argentina in the match against Nigeria. He was all over the stands, yelling, raising his hands, making ugly gestures...
All that stress was too much for Maradona, and he nearly collapsed after the game. He said that his neck was hurting, so he was rushed into the nearest hospital.
Even though he posted some pictures while laying in hospital, Maradona said in recent interview that his health is not at risk, and that he is alive and well.
Argentina's next match is against France, June 30, this Saturday. We hope that Maradona will be OK by then. And during the match!
