Everton manager Ronald Koeman heaps praise on Wayne Rooney as the striker hit his 200th Premier League goal to earn the Toffees a draw at Manchester City.
31-year-old forward/midfielder Wayne Rooney is one of the most popular and famous soccer stars on the planet.
He was born in Corxteth, Liverpool, and was brought up as a Roman Catholic. He is of Irish descent.
He grew up supporting Everton soccer club, and eventually he played for Everton in the beginning of his career - from 2002, until 2004.
From 2004, Rooney transferred to Manchester United and he stayed there until this year.
He was the youngest player to play for England's national team. Rooney played his first match for England in 2003, at only 17 years of age.
