Manchester United v Basle: Champions League match preview

Match preview ahead of the Champions League clash between Manchester United and Basle.

Manchester United destroyed Basel with 3-0 in their last match that was held at the old Trafford.

This was United's first match in the Champions League in one year and 8 months of their absence in the CL.

The only bad thing that happened to the Man United was that Paul Pogba injured himself in 19th minute of the game.

Basel was victorious the last two times they were playing against the United at the Old Trafford, but on a Tuesday evening they didn't stand a chance against the Reds Devils.

Lukaku scored a his debut goal, and Fellaini was also successful as he broke a record of Man United on the earliest goal by a substitute. Third goal was by Marcus Rashford, and his goal also was kind of a record breaker, because he is now a forth English teenager to score a Champions League goal for Manchester United, after David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones.
