Slaven Bilic sacked - who could take over as West Ham manager?

With Slaven Bilic leaving his position as West Ham manager, we take a look at some of the favourites to take over at the London Stadium.

Slaven Bilic is a former professional football player and a current football manager.

He was born on September 11, 1968, in Split, Croatia.

Bilic started his youth career in Hajduk Split, in 1977, and then continued to play for Hajduk as a senior, until 1993.

He was also a part of Croatia's national team, from 1992, until 1999.

Bilic started his career as a manager in Hajduk Split, in 2001. He has also managed Croatia U21 team, and Croatia's national team, from 2006, until 2012. 2012-2013 Bilic was a part of Lokomotiv Moscow, and from 2013 until 2015 he managed Besiktas.

The last two years of his excellent managing career Bilic spent in West Ham United, as their main coach.
